AVM 301 Aviation History & Development
A review of aviation from Kitty Hawk to the Shuttle. Special emphasis will be given to those political and geographical situations which contributed to the development of aviation. The influence of World Wars I and II and the subsequent technological developments in aviation will be stressed. An examination of those aspects of aviation that have contributed to its rapid growth. Prerequisite: ENGL 103
