MSC 670 Advanced Aquaculture
The course provides an introduction to the principles upon which viable aquaculture practices are based. Different culture systems, levels of intensity and environments will be discussed. Lectures will contain background notes and information on specific topics like water quality, nutrition, disease and agri-business. Reference data, exercises and peer reviewed bibliographical sources will be provided as part of the required readings in this applied ecology course.
