MSC 613 Aquatic Toxicology

This course is an advanced, in-depth examination of the major classes of contaminants in aquatic environments and their interactions with aquatic organisms. Methods of toxicity testing, chemical fate and interactions in aquatic systems, and mechanisms of toxicity will be discussed. This course will give students an opportunity to integrate and apply their knowledge from multiple disciplines with a focus on laboratory and field toxicological techniques.
