EDU 230 Literacy Mentoring
This course is open to any JU student interested in mentoring and serving as a role-model for a Kindergarten - 5th grade student to promote and encourage literacy skills and positive reading habits. Course offers an opportunity to develop a sense of social responsibility while experiencing the value of civic engagement through one-to-one mentoring. Survey of the fundamentals of reading development is studied and applied.
