COMM 201SI Principles of Speech Communication
This course will concentrate on speech delivery techniques, organization patterns and content. Students will be required to demonstrate competency in the delivery of informational, special occasion, extemporaneous, and impromptu speeches. Speeches and other oral communication presentations will be delivered in class for evaluation. Students will be taught to develop and demonstrate skills in a variety of oral communication situations. Attention will be given to each student regarding styles of delivery and content of the message.
