ACCT 370 Accounting Information Systems

The purpose of this course is to explore the relationship among accounting, data, and technology as they combine to form accounting information. The course is not designed to focus on computer hardware issues, nor is it intended to explore the complexities of intermediate accounting. Yet a working knowledge of the principles of accounting is required. This course will examine the role that accounting information plays in the organizational decision making process. For Accounting majors only; will not substitute for DSIM 370.  Prerequisite:   A “C” or better in ACCT 201 and ACCT 202
