The purpose of this course is to develop acomprehensive knowledge about how nursing theoriesare formulated and their relationship tonursing research. Principles of theory developmentare applied toward critiquing theory from nursingand related fields. Students develop an integratedliterature review and research framework on atopic of interest based on a critical examinationof research literature and theories from nursingand related fields.
