MHC 602 Family Therapy: Counseling Ch
This course will explore the causes, diagnosesand treatment of mental health disorders ofchildren and adolescents with an emphasis on theimpact on the family system. Disorders that willbe reviewed include but are not limited to ADD,ADHD, Autism, Disruptive Behavior Disorders,Anxiety, Depression, Substance Use, and EatingDisorders. Therapeutic approaches will beaddressed including play therapy, groupcounseling and family counseling. Coachingstrategies will also be investigated.
