HUM 410 The Humanities in Medicine
This upper level seminar explores Disasters andDisease from a variety of literary, artistic, andethical perspectives. An interdisciplinary lenswill explore economic, social, religious, andpolitical implications of the dynamics ofcatastrophic events. Content includes Pandemicsand Disease, Man Made Disasters, Climate Change,and Cosmic Events. The role of science andtechnology is explored in prevention andforecasting the challenges of future biomedicaland natural uncertainties and disasters.
