ENGL 5330 Acquisition and Learning of a First and a Second Language
Analysis of theories and the description of the process of acquiring a first and a second language. Emphasis on the following aspects: morphosemantic, lexical-semantic, phonological, and para-linguistic systems. Its implications for teaching English to ELL students at all levels are included.
