Authorization of High School Students to Take Master's Level Courses
Interamerican University students whose academic index is 3.00 or higher and who have yet to pass 30 credits or less to complete their baccalaureate, may request authorization to enroll in courses at the master's level through the director of the program department at where it is registered. Students who obtain such authorization must indicate whether they will use the master's level courses to replace pending requirements of their baccalaureate or for future admission to the master's level. Courses used for substitution at the high school level may be covered by Title IV aid, if the student qualifies for these. These courses may only be considered in a future admission to the master's level at the Interamericana University of Puerto Rico, if a grade of A or B is obtained, as long as validation of these courses is requested at the time of requesting admission to said program. .
In any case, the cost of registration fees for master's studies will be applied to the courses.
To use Title IV aid, students must be enrolled in the same academic term in which they have enrolled in high school courses.
The high school student may take a maximum of 10 master's level credits.
