CJUS 4500 Social-Scientific Research Methodology
Study of the nature, scope, methods, and designs of research and the steps to follow in social-scientific research and its application to the discipline. Analysis of research projects performed in the field of social sciences for the identification of the different research components, such as the topic, the problem, the method and the design used, the instruments and the techniques for data collection, data analysis, and interpretation of the results. Includes the discussion of a responsible conduct in research.
