PSYC 6931 Practice II: Psychological Counseling
Practical experiences aimed for the development of psychological evaluation skills. Integration and application of the skills of interviewing, review of records, writing of record, preparation of psychological evaluation reports. Development of skills related to feedback of test results, initial intervention, and consulting to parents and adults. The supervised practice will be carried out under business hours of the practice center where the student will be placed. Requires the completion of a minimum of 160 hours of practice under the supervision of a faculty member, 8 hours a week of practice in the assigned center and 2 additional hours of composition and reading outside the center. Grade: P/NP.
