Discussion of the problems, strategies and technologies of the biotechnology industry. Emphasis on methods for planning and organizing biotechnology companies. Integration and development of the elements of a business plan with methods to assess the needs of capital, personnel, technology, and marketing sectors. Technology evaluation and the development of joint ventures related to biotechnology. Requires 30 hours of conference and 45 hours of laboratory.
