EDUC 6460 Child and Adolescent Counseling
Examination of the different problems that affect the development of children and adolescents and their physical, mental, emotional, and social functioning. Includes models and strategies for the counseling of children and adolescents from the perspective of development, prevention and remediation. Emphasis on ethics, research and the application of counseling approaches in the child and adolescent population. Includes practical experiences in school and other scenarios.
