COMP 6410 Analysis, Design and Structure of Databases

Discussion of database management systems and their modern applications. Emphasis on the analysis and implementation of various decision methods that should be considered in the design and development of these systems. Emphasis on storage management, access methods, query processing and optimization strategies, while controlling techniques, storage and data management, semi-structured data management and others. It requires adtional hours of open laboratory.
