THEA 242 Acting Theory & Practice: Character Study
This class is designed to develop and exercise the actor's skills in the creation of dynamic, text-based characters. Work will focus on character and script analysis, integration and interpretation of monologues and scenes within classical and modern texts. Techniques used to develop characters will also include methods to utilize period, style, stage voice and movement.
