PHIL 250B Tip/Language & Perception
This course is an introduction to the philosophy of language, with attention given to relevant topics in cognitive science. We will examine classic and contemporary work on meaning, truth, and reference. Emphasis will placed on the subtle and difficult problem of understanding how linguistic communication works.
