GEOL 4144 Geoscience Seminar

The Geoscience Seminar is a capstone course designed to provide students with an opportunity to research (through literature, field, and laboratory activities) a problem or process in the Earth Sciences. Students will complete the research either independently or as a working group of peers. At the end of the semester, students will be responsible for producing a professional quality scientific poster presentation and a formal scientific paper. The topic of the project will vary with student interest, the ability of the facilities and program to support the research, and the number of students involved in the project.
