ISCI 5322 Information Systems Analysis & Design

This course provides an introduction to Systems Analysis and Design methodologies. Topics include analyzing the business case, system development life cycle, requirements modeling, data and process modeling, system architecture, and development strategies, with a focus on business process modeling and project management. Students will learn about output and user interface design, data design, systems architecture and implementation, and systems operation, support, and security. The course also includes hands-on experience with related software tools and the real-world system development projects. Work in Computer Lab required. Students who have successfully completed CSCI 4322 cannot receive credit for this course. A special topic or internship would be substituted.
