PHYT 7250 Clinical Research Methods

Designed to review basic, and introduce advanced, statistical concepts and techniques used in the scientific inquiry of applied clinical research. Topics to be explored include measurement theory and the scientific method, the research process, experimental design, hypothesis construction and testing, rating scales, sampling, indices of validity and reliability, and statistical analyses. In introduction to qualitative research methods will also be included. (2 credit hours)
