MUCM 4328 Philosophy of Music and Worship
Philosophy of Music and Worship is designed to help students develop a working philosophy of the role of music in the worship and general life of the church. Students will study Biblical precepts and historical thought to gain a scriptural perspective to music and worship and come to a better understanding of the philosophical issues that face church musicians. The precepts will be applied to current issues facing the church and students will be asked to develop a knowledgeable philosophy to apply to these situations.
