Credits in Residence
Candidates for the associate degree must complete a minimum of twenty-four (24) credits of course work at Delaware Tech. For the Associate in Applied Science or Associate of Arts, at least twelve (12) credits of the residence requirement must be major courses from the program in which the degree is awarded. For the Associate of Science degree, at least twelve (12) credits of the residence requirement must be core courses. Candidates for the diploma must complete twelve (12) credits of the residence requirement with six (6) credits in major courses. Candidates for the certificate must complete 50% of credits required for the certificate at Delaware Tech. Credits earned under the Advanced Standing Policy may not be applied toward the residency requirements of the College. Exceptions to this policy may be made with the approval of the Deans of Instruction, Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs and Vice President for Academic Affairs.
Candidates for the RN to BSN program must complete a minimum of 75% of the 300 and 400 level nursing courses at Delaware Tech.
Candidates for the Bachelor of Science in Education program must complete a minimum of 75% of the 300 and 400 level program courses at Delaware Tech.
