MIS 479 Data Mining and Machine Intelligence
Machine Learning is the scientific study of algorithms and models that progressively improve their performance on a specific task. A machine learning system is trained rather than explicitly programed. Topics may include: Data Mining, Unsupervised Learning and Clustering, Affinity Analysis, Text, Image and Web Mining, Machine Intelligence, Classification, Naïve Bayes, SVM’s, kNN, Trees, Forests and Neural Networks and Deep Learning.
