CJ 331 Victimology
This course will examine the crime victim as a participant in the Criminal Justice System and the phenomenon of being a victim. Students will learn about victimization patterns in domestic violence, violent crime, stalking, and other related crimes as well as the fear of crime. We explore the techniques people use to survive victimization and the theories explaining victimization patterns and survival. Students taking this course will develop a better understanding of current research on victimization.
