BIOL 240 Introduction to Bioinformatics

The course considers introductory topics in bioinformatics. Topics include the structure of DNA, data searches, pairwise alignments, substitution patterns, protein structure prediction and modeling, proteomics and the use of web-based tools for topics in bioinformatics.
