HIST 324 Scientific Revolution
This course is an examination of the origins, development, and effects of the scientific revolution in Europe from 1450 to 1750. The course focuses on the social and cultural forces that shaped the scientific revolution as well as the revolution's broad impact beyond the world of science. The lives and accomplishments of famous scientists, such as Galileo and Newton, will also be covered.
Prerequisite
HIST 108 or permission of the instructor.
