EXCE 451 Family Consultation and Support

Candidates will acquire the knowledge to engage, support, and collaborate with the families of students with disabilities. Candidates will gain an understanding of the impact of identification and diagnosis on families, transitioning students between various school settings, transitioning between post school and adulthood, and collaboration with community to aid in post school opportunities. Candidates will also acquire knowledge in the diversity of students, backgrounds, and the law of education.
