Human Services Addiction Option, AAS
Program Description
The addictions option is designed for those individuals wishing to work in the addictions field. The option is designed to prepare people to obtain their Certified Addictions Practitioner Assistant Certification (CAPA) from the State of Wyoming. People completing this option, and obtaining their CAPA would most likely work within inpatient or outpatient drug or alcohol treatment programs, detoxification centers, and drug court programs. The student is required to pass a criminal background check and drug screen to be eligible for practicum experiences.
