ENGL 1010 English Composition I
A course designed to help students improve their ability to communicate in writing. A central objective of the course is to prepare students to successfully complete various writing assign- ments frequently required of college students. The course emphasizes clear, well-ordered expository and argumentative writing, with variety in sentence structure, carefully developed paragraphs, smooth transitions and appropriate use of the language. Prerequisite: Completion of
ENGL 0620 or placement into
