MATH 095 Foundations of Algebra

This course is designed as a foundation of algebraic skills for students to gain understanding of algebra before taking an entry level college math course. The major topics include linear equations and inequalities, quadratic equations, polynomials and factoring, rational and radical expressions. Prerequisites: 242 Accuplacer Next Generation Quantitative Reasoning or 15 ACT Math (3/0/3)

A grade of "C" or better must be earned for the student to have satisfactorily completed MATH 0095 to meet the pre-requisite for an entry level college math course.
