ELEC 1010 NCCER Core
The NCCER Core course was designed to help students build their foundational skills in preparation for careers in Construction and General Industry. This course consists of nine (9) modules that will prepare the student in the following areas: basic workplace safety obligations of workers and supervisors, introduction to basic mathematical skills, introduction to hand and power tools used in the construction industry as well as construction drawings. The course will also introduce the student to basic rigging, communication skills, material handling, and employability skills.
