Academic Integrity Policy
All academic material, including but not limited to class or clinical assignments, exams, projects, quizzes, and discussion postings, will be held to the Berkshire Community College Code of Conduct, which can be found in the Berkshire Community College Student Policy Guide. Plagiarism or any other form of academic dishonesty will put students at risk of receiving a 0 grade on the assignment or exam, and/or failing the ADN program at Berkshire Community College.
Disciplinary Process
If academic dishonesty is suspected or confirmed by a nursing faculty member, the student will meet with the faculty member as well as the Dean of Nursing to discuss the details of the violation. Depending on the outcome of the meeting, an Academic Concern warning will be completed and further disciplinary action will be at the discretion of the Dean of Nursing. If the matter cannot be resolved mutually and informally, the Berkshire Community College Code of Conduct Process shall be followed and the student will be reported to the Dean of Students for further investigation.
