SES-337 INTRO TO EXERCISE PSYCHOLOGY

A course that examines the reciprocal relations among physical activity, exercise behavior, and biochemical and physiological adaptation. Further, this course provides a foundational exploration of psychosocial determinants and effects associated with adopting and maintaining an exercise program. Topics include: theories of behavior change, exercise psychology interventions, and the relationship between exercise and mental health. Prerequisite: PSY 281
