SES-332 APPLD EXER TECHNIQUES & INJ PREVENTION

This course focuses on the knowledge and skills required to teach and guide individuals in the performance of safe and effective exercises that target musculoskeletal fitness. Particular emphasis is placed on the biomechanical and structural components of an exercise movement which can be adapted for the individual and minimize injury risk. Content presented include conducting and interpreting physical assessments, designing individualized exercise programs based on specific fitness-related goals and musculoskeletal strengths and weaknesses, teaching proper exercise movements, and addressing injury-related issues. Pre-requisite: SES 320 and 320L.
