BIO-303 PRINCIPLES OF HUMAN GENETICS
Students will acquire an understanding of the relationship between genes and phenotypes. Emphasis will be placed on familiarizing the student with the molecular nature of the hereditary material, gene function, and gene inheritance. In addition, the student will be introduced to recombinant DNA technology and will learn how these techniques are utilized in human genetics. Prerequisite: BIO 110 or permission of instructor. (Fall, Spring, Summer)
