OTR-526 ADL: STRAT FOR SPECIAL NEEDS

This course introduces students to the techniques of assessment and training of self-care and mobility skills as a multidimensional process of interaction between the disabled individual, their occupations and the environment throughout the lifespan. Emphasis is placed on occupational therapy principles, problem solving, teaching-learning process, adapted techniques, and equipment for ADL, positioning and mobility. Prerequisites: OTR 500-516. Corequisites: OTR 522, 524, 528.
