NUR-739 EPIDEM/POPHLTH ADV CL PRACT

This course is a study of the fundamental principles of epidemiology and the application of epidemiological measurement and analysis in assessing the health needs and outcomes of communities and populations. Students will focus on health promotion, risk screening, disease prevention and social determinants of health. Clinical strategies and interventions used by the advanced practice nurse are examined, analyzed, and critiqued using research methods and theoretical data. Corequisites: NUR 711 and NUR 721
