LAW-6618 ADV TOPICS SPORT/ANTITRUST
Advanced Topics in Sports Antitrust will focus on modern issues in law & economics that shape the antitrust treatment of professional sports leagues. This seminar will place significant emphasis on the case American Needle v. Nat'l Football League, which is currently expected to be argued before the Supreme Court in January 2010. The professor of this course, Marc Edelman, has recently been asked by the American Antitrust Institute to help draft an amicus brief in this case.
