LAW-6600 ANTITRUST

This class is designed to explore the various issues presented by the enforcement of United States Anti-Trust laws, and explores a wide range of topics. The topics covered in the course include, but are not limited to, the role of competition, enacting anti-trust legislation, enforcing anti-trust laws, the reach of anti-trust laws (i.e. exemptions, state action, foreign commerce, etc.) horizontal restraints, vertical restraints, monopolization, mergers, discrimination under the Robinson-Patman act, special issues in health care, and special issues in patents.
