LAW-6443 TRANSNATIONAL SECURITY

This course concerns the legal, political, economic and military aspects of international relations and national security law in the 21st century. Contemporary issues including non-state sponsored transnational terrorism, threats posed by the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, intelligence operations, constitutional constraints on defending America, international treaty negotiations and implementation, use of military force and related public international law topics will be covered.
