LAW-6135 JUVENILE JUSTICE
Unlike Children and the Law which was based on U.S. Supreme Court cases involving children in the judicial system, this course will focus on the juvenile court practices of Florida's juvenile courts. The reading assignments will focus on Florida cases, statutes and regulations. There will also be simulated problems in which students will be expected to participate in written assignments as well as mock demonstrations. If time permits, there will also be presentations from practitioners, judges and other officials from the juvenile systems.
