EDU-549 CRIT THEO&EDU TRANSFORMATION
Students will explore critical education theory and community organizing perspectives and strategies and development skills in advocacy and activism in order to engage in critical analysis and transformation of educational systems. Laws and policies will be explored in order to make connections at the local, state, and federal levels. Community-based organizations will be examined as effective agents for social change and community mobilization.
