ANE-602 CLINICAL PRACTICUM I

This course provides opportunities for the student to apply basic principles of anesthesiology in both simulated and actual settings. An emphasis on patient safety and vigilance, perianesthesia topics of pre-operative evaluation, comprehensive equipment check and prevention of iatrogenic complications for general anesthesia are explored. Prerequisites: Students must be accepted into the Post Baccalaureate Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Program with Specialization in Anesthesiology. Admission criteria is defined in the Graduate Catalogue.
