SOCI 4326 Population and Society

This course is an introduction to the concepts and methods of demographic analysis. The course covers major demographic theories and basic measures of mortality, fertility, and migration. It is intended to provide students with a general understanding of global population trends and the processes that shape population size, structure, and dynamics locally, nationally, and in the world.
