SAFS 1303 Introduction to Agricultural Engineering
This course will acquaint students with fundamental physical, chemical, and mathematical principles underlying the discipline of agricultural engineering. Theoretical fundamentals of the three major domains of agricultural engineering will be covered; farm machinery and power engineering, soil and water engineering, and agricultural processing and food engineering. Laboratory sections will provide students with practical training and hands-on experience in these topics. Students should have at least high school-level proficiencies in physics, chemistry, and mathematics.
