ELEE 4380 Computer Architecture

This course presents an overview of digital computer architecture, including architectural issues for processors, instruction sets, microprogramming, memory hierarchy and interleaving, cache and virtual memory mapping, RISC principles, and principles of pipelining and pipeline hazards, as well as input/output devices. Equivalent courses: CMPE 4335, CSCI 4335.
