BMED 1106 Introductory Medical Microbiology

This course is an introduction to the field of medical microbiology and will examine microbial morphology, factors controlling growth and reproduction, metabolism, genetics of human pathogens including bacteria, protest, fungi, and viruses. The molecular basis of host defense and pathogenesis will be emphasized.
