SOCI 105 First Year Experience
First Year Experience is a course designed to help student acclimate to the environment of the Turtle Mountain Community College (TMCC). The course will introduce students to the key cultural values and principles at the core of the TMBCI community while also equipping them with strategies to facilitate academic success. All first-time Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degree seeking students will be required to complete the First Year Experience course in the first semester they enroll. Students must take this course if they have 11 or fewer credits, excluding Dual Credit students or if they are returning/transfer students who have been out of school for seven years or more and have not earned a degree from Turtle Mountain Community College.
