MATH-321 Cryptography
An introduction to Cryptography, including the following topics: modular arithmetic, divisibility, simple cryptosystems and ciphers, public key cryptography, blockchain and hashes, zero-knowledge protocols, primality and factoring, and if time permits, elliptic curve cryptography.
Prerequisite
Student has completed any of the following course(s) MATH 166 - Calculus II, MATH 185 - Discrete Mathematics I with grade greater than or equal to C (Undergraduate Grading Scheme).
